Legion100.ca is a structured communications and branch operations platform designed to support Legion branches, volunteers, staff, committee members, branch leadership, and individuals who choose to receive information related to Legion activities and community initiatives.
The platform operates as an independent service and does not fundraise on behalf of any Branch.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected. This policy is intended to align with applicable Canadian privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Interest-Based Communications & Tagging
Legion100 uses an interest-based communication model.
When you sign up, you select the topics you want to receive updates about. These selections are recorded as internal preference tags and are used solely to ensure that:
- You receive information relevant to your interests or role
- Communications are targeted appropriately by branch, committee, or topic
- Unnecessary or unrelated messages are avoided
These communications may include updates about events, activities, or opportunities that align with your selected interests, such as community events, programs, or social functions.
Tags are not used for advertising targeting, behavioral profiling, or data resale.
Consent to receive communications is recorded and maintained as part of the system’s audit trail.

Public Users and Controlled Access
This platform supports both:
- Individuals who opt in to receive communications

Access to platform features, information, and community areas is controlled and role-based.
